There is no fee to join our co-op, though some classes may have a small fee. We try very hard to keep costs as low as possible.

Our co-op meets at Community Christian Church, 8009 Corporate Drive 21236.  We are within  easy walking distance from the White Marsh library and quite close to The Avenue and the White Marsh Mall. Although we use the church facilities, we are not officially affiliated with the church.

Our co-op is secular, diverse, tolerant and inclusive.  We welcome everyone and ask only that you are respectful of others.  Our science classes are taught from a secular perspective.

Our co-op classes are for teens, ages 13+.  We do not offer classes for younger students.

Some of our classes are only for high school students, 9-12th grade and at least 14 years old.

Please respect the age limits and grade levels. If you want us to make an exception for your child, email [email protected] with info about your child and why you think an exception should be made.  But be aware--our main goal is to provide social interaction for TEENS, and so we are not likely to grant many such requests.

Please read the class descriptions to find out more about the appropriate ages for each class and to determine if the class is a good fit for your teen.

Parents and younger sibs are welcome to hang out in the lounge area in the lobby and read, do school work or relax.  Once we know your family and your teen is familiar with our co-op, then drop offs are possible.

You don’t have to sign up for the full day.  We are fine with people only signing up for what they really want to participate in.  However, if our classes start to fill, then we will give preference to people who sign up for more than one class.

We'll be contacting our teachers first to allow them to choose spots in classes for their kids. After that we'll be contacting current co-op members, starting with those that planned events for us this fall. Somewhere around 11/27, we'll open up remaining spots to new families. If you want to be contacted regarding co-op classes, please register HERE
